| Art in the Frame > Press & photos > Gina Socrates Gina Socrates Art in the Frame Foundation are delighted to be exhibiting "A New Selection Of Photography" by Gina Socrates LRPS from 10th - 29th July These new photographic images by Gina Socrates are simply stunning. It is difficult to believe that this is her first solo exhibition, both the standard of work and the presentation is so professional. Gina, formerly a designer, has an excellent eye for composition, colour and balance. The exhibition is a mixture of images of Jersey seen in differing ways. Images vary from abstract type work, looking at objects and landscapes from unusual and challenging angles, moody and atmospheric images of St Brelade's and other local coastlines, where colour plays a major role, to a simple but compelling wild life meadow in full bloom. The exhibition was opened by local well known and highly respected photographer John Nasey FRPS . Over 80 people attended the private view with many of them being keen island photographers, it was good to see so many new faces at The Harbour Gallery. Art in the Frame would like to thank Peter Knight for hanging the work. The images to follow show the private view on a beatiful summer's evening.
