Andy Greenwood

I have been a craftsman from a child and have gained a lot of life's knowledge from travelling, having visited 34 countries over the space of twenty years.

I try to make my ideas as unique as possible and my materials can range from plaster to wood to silver. My tools are hand tools. I very much enjoy making individual pieces for people using their personal ideas. I would take up the challenge to make anything in any size and any design as I enjoy working out the materials to be used for the appropriate designs.

For the Artisan's Showcase I am exhibiting my rocking cow, which is very applicable to this particular exhibition, with the cattle shows going on outside, as part of the Country Fayre.

The dolphin rocking chair portrays the movement of the dolphin as it jumps in and out of the water and is unique to Jersey.
