Limited edition, signed and numbered photographs.
After following a painting and textile course at college, Pat taught in many local schools but during the last 18 years has been Head of Art at Beaulieu Convent School.
Four and a half years ago she and fellow art teacher Elizabeth Le Gal set up Art in the Frame to support up-and-coming artists on the island. Also to bring exciting, highly qualified artists and craftworkers to the island to run workshops, to give lectures and to visit schools.
At the same time Pat took up her early hobby of photography. Local land and seascape has always been a fascination, the changes in light, the weather and the seasons. The sea and clouds feature in many photographs probably influenced by her great interest in sailing when younger.
All the photographs are taken with a Pentax SLR camera using Kodak film. No photograph is cropped or manipulated and all are in colour. Colour is a big influence in all Pat's art work. The photographs are sold to support Art in the Frame, no money is taken by the photographer.
Pat's photographs also comprise the Art in the Frame 2003 calendar.
