Gregory Guida has been Durrell's wildlife photographer
since 2004. His portraits and animal pictures have been used
throughout Durrell's literature as well as other
books and publications.
An avid photographer all his life, Gregory Guida considers
photography as the art of extracting emotion from any
subject. As one would expect, such an approach leads to a
large, rich and eclectic portfolio. His nautical images
however, show more than just the answer to an intellectual
challenge, they express a tangible and deep longing
for the sea.
