Art in the Frame > 5th Anniversary
Harbour Gallery 5th Anniversary
Art In The Frame gave two "Birthday Presents" at the opening of their 5th Birthday Exhibition on Thursday 8th November ~ "Changing Colours....seasonal inspirations of Jersey" which featured exhibitors who have exhibited at The Harbour Gallery since its start up 5 years ago.

The two lucky recipients of the Birthday Presents had their names drawn by the Patron of Art In The Frame Mrs. Valerie Ridgway and were:
Sarah Jordan - Textile Artist
Rosemary Blackmore - Painter
Both these artists received cheques of 300.00 each fundraised by the Foundation. The evening was attended by 200 people.
All the photos are here.

It is difficult to believe that The Harbour Gallery has now been open for FIVE HAPPY YEARS and is now the largest “Working gallery” in The Channel Islands.

OUR MAIN AIM IS TO CONTINUE TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT OUR UP AND COMING ARTISTS AND CRAFTWORKERS IN JERSEY.

100 NEW "FRIENDS OF ART IN THE FRAME" ARE NEEDED TO ACHIEVE THIS AIM BY THE END OF THIS YEAR...CAN YOU HELP US?

To help celebrate our fifth birthday please consider becoming a FRIEND OF ART IN THE FRAME or renewing a lapsed subscription or giving a FRIENDS subscription for a Birthday or Christmas present. You and your family or friends will receive all the benefits of being a FRIEND.

OUR ARTISTS AND CRAFTWORKERS WILL BENEFIT BY MORE EXHIBITIONS, MORE AWARDS TO FURTHER THEIR WORK AND MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO EXHIBIT OFF ISLAND.

Please become one of our 100 FIFTH BIRTHDAY FRIENDS, you are just a click away!

We aim to continue and consolidate our work over the next few years, offering more educational opportunities, exhibitions and to continue to find opportunities for our artists and craftworkers.

Art In The Frame Foundation is very grateful to the Tourism Development Fund for realizing a dream. Art In The Frame was one of the first applicants to receive a TDF grant and again three years later, to receive a second grant to open up the top floors.

We welcome Beads n’ Crafts, Jersey Soap, The Harbour Music School, Evolve, our resident artists and Food In The Frame, as a lively part of the Gallery.

The Gallery and Art In The Frame are run entirely by volunteers to whom we are extremely grateful. With no regular funding we rely totally on sales and sponsorship.

Our birthday wish is to sign up 100 new friends to Art In The Frame.

The Harbour Gallery is now an accredited examination centre, on this fifth birthday evening our first A-Level students will presented with their A-Level certificates.

If you would like to sponsor an event, workshops or an exhibition
please contact us.

IFG Trust takes great pleasure in sponsoring the Changing Colours exhibition on the Harbour Gallery’s 5th Birthday. We are proud to be supporting several charities in the island. We are also keen to assist in the promotion of creative work produced by local artists and craft workers and in particular to assist in the development of young Jersey artists.

During the opening our patron Mrs Valerie Ridgway will draw two valuable cash prizes, fundraised by Art In The Frame Foundation, to give to two of our exhibiting local artists or craftworkers as our BIRTHDAY PRESENT TO THEM, to help further their work on or off the Island.
