Draw for a Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machine, with Art in the Frame Foundation
On her recent visit to Jersey, to lecture & run workshops for adults and children, internationally famous textile artist Jan Beaney drew a winning name for a Husqvarna Viking Interlude 445 sewing machine, at The Harbour Gallery.
The sewing machine, purchased by Art in the frame Foundation, was to go to a year 11 student studying art textiles at G.C.S.E. level. Schools were requested to enter names of their students studying Art Textiles at G.C.S.E. The Lucky winner was Angeline Cox from Jersey College for Girls.
Having attended the lecture on the previous night and Saturday's workshop at the Harbour Gallery, Angeline was a very appropriate winner.
