Christmas at St Aubin

A Craft Extravaganza.
Venue: The Parish Hall at St. Aubin [map] 11am - 7pm.

A Christmas Wonderland with glasswork, prints, a wide variety of jewellery, hats, scarves, textiles, bags, books, stones, cards, mosaics, drums, etc.
Venue: The departure hall at Jersey Airport.

Join the Christmas Carol Service in the Atrium at 6.30pm on Saturday.

Children's fashion show with refreshments.
Introducing the full range of 'Atlantic Blue' clothing and Hilary Kay children's accessories (pictures here).
Adults £6, Children (4 to 12) £2.50, under 4s free.
Each child receives a lucky dip present and a balloon.
Raffle draw each day.

My People and I, Fruits of the Sea
Thursday 26 September: 8.00pm
Venue: The Ritchie Room, Jersey Arts Centre [map]
Illustrated talk by Lynn Muir, craftworker and illustrator, from Cornwall (Lynn was previously in Jersey for Perceptions 3). Lynn paints figures onto driftwood reclaimed from the North Cornwall coastal beaches. There will also be an exhibition of Lynn's work.
Tickets (adults: £7, friends: £5, students: £4) available from Art in the Frame.

Treasure Trove

Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 September: 11.00am - 5.00pm
Venue: Next to the Maritime Museum [map]
Visit 'Treasure Trove', a craft marquee, on the New North Quay next to the Maritime Museum - an experience not to be missed! Vote for your favourite sea-faring character and dressed maritime stall.
Enter a world under the sea. Games and story-telling for children, food stalls, walks, etc. A day out for all the family.

Work for sale, demonstrations, mini-workshops.
Venue: Garden Festival and West Show Ground, St. Peter [map].
Also:
Come and put a tile into the Garden Festival Mosaic.
George Kowzan will be at every event and open garden for the Garden Festival. Visitors and locals will be invited to place a tile on the Garden Festival Mosaic, especially designed with a floral theme by George Kowzan.
It is hoped that all the tiles will have been placed by the 14th July.
