Kiss Me, Kate is a fantastic musical! It's one of those musicals that many people say they don't really know. The number of times people have said "Oh, that's based on Taming Of The Shrew", or "Isn't that really just a singing show with not much dancing"?
Then they see the show, and they are dazzled.
Featuring music and lyrics from the legendary Cole Porter, and revised in 1999, Kiss Me, Kate is amongst the very best musicals of all time.
JADC will be producing the 1999 revised version, and there is loads of energy, dancing and singing. In addition to the amazing Cole Porter music there will be great choreography from Jann Talbot, musical direction from John Shield who will be leading a full 18-piece orchestra, and stage management by Ian Barette. Add to this rich and colourful costumes, creative lighting and superb sound.
