JUNE 2007

Last Meeting
Well we didn't have any millionaires at our afternoon "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" quiz. We lost two teams early on and they won't forget the difference between their tappets and their widgets! The other three teams being evenly matched to the end of the game. The question and answer round that followed was very easy and everyone relaxed and had a laugh. Tea and biscuits followed and there was plenty of time for chatting.
At our evening meeting our speaker was John Rive, the Recycling Officer and he gave a very informative talk on all the things we can re-cycle at home, and all the States schemes that are in place to help the environment. Refreshments were served and we had our usual raffle.
