MAY 2004

Last Meeting
We were delighted and privileged to welcome Professor David Latchman to our meeting last month. Professor Latchman is a professor of human genetics at the University College London. He gave an in depth presentation of his work researching the causes of Parkinson’s Disease, and explained how the pieces of medical equipment which Jersey branch has purchased for his projects has helped his work.
It was also pleasing that so many of our members attended. There is hope, and your committee is committed to making a difference in your lives if given the opportunity.
The committee would like to welcome new members who have joined the branch over the last month. We can offer you Dao Yin exercise classes, swimming at the Cheshire Homes pool and a taxi for hospital and doctors appointments. For details phone Eileen Smith on 737128.
