Before starting the quiz last month, Eileen Smith told members of her recent experience having just had a flying lesson the previous week which she had thoroughly enjoyed. Total points available from the quiz were 106 and the topics covered an ABC round, cryptic clues to popular flowers, the common word, the Gold Run from Blockbusters and a picture round where the name of the celebrity was required as well as the name they were born with.
Valma, Danny and Vi scored 831/2 points and not 98 as originally thought, Roger, Piero and Jack 821/2 Kay, Ken, and Carol 82, Marg, June and Joyce 811/2 and last but not least Peggy and Maureen 681/2 . Everyone received a prize and our raffle and refreshments rounded off a very enjoyable evening, even if the little grey cells were exhausted.

Guernsey conference 2008
Congratulations go to Guernsey branch for an excellent conference at the beginning of the month. Eileen would like to thank Suki, Sandra and Katie from Neurocare for travelling with us and I am sure they will be passing on to you everything they learnt during the weekend.
Well done to our five sufferers who made the effort to travel and for being in such good spirits. Eileen knows you all benefited from the workshops you were able to attend.
We thank Chairman John Button and Secretary Penny Sarchet for welcoming us and for their hospitality during the weekend.
Once again our annual coffee morning and Christmas Card sale was a huge success. Eileen would like to thank all the helpers who manned the stalls, it was truly a joint team effort this year. Eileen was also delighted to meet some of our newer members and thank them for making themselves known to her. We look forward to seeing some of you at our gym sessions or a social gathering
